Many of Colorado’s wineries are located on Colorado’s Western Slope, but Sweet Heart Winery & Event Center in Loveland is one of the exceptions. Located on 8 acres, the winery has indoor and outdoor venue options to host gatherings ranging from meetings, expos, and fundraising galas to holiday parties and networking events. The barrel room can hold up to 200, or book the entire facility for a larger affair.
The tasting room sells wine by the flight, glass, or bottle for indulging in refreshing whites, adventurous reds, and a rotating menu of small-batch wines. Flatbread pizzas and cheese, charcuterie, and hummus plates round out the experience.
Winemaking started out as a garage hobby in 2010 for owners David and Kathy Burks. California grapes and a few barrels of quality cabernet sauvignon led to a full-blown winery and event center.
