Virginia Frischkorn, proprietor of Bluebird Productions and Partytrick, asked The Perfect Petal in Denver to create a series of themed party looks using botanicals as the source of inspiration and materials. The results, styled by Frischkorn, were used in a photo shoot to help launch her curated party brand.
For one theme, Kate Nolan, senior event designer for The Perfect Petal, leaned into earthy mushrooms and forest-floor vegetation to create an elevated farm-to-fork tablescape.
“Kate used wood mushrooms and oyster mushrooms paired with toffee roses and forest-floor ferns and cobra lilies,” describes Cindy Ollig, owner and designer at The Perfect Petal. “The votives mimic mushroom caps.”
