Jenny Maxwell, the planner behind new web-based software and app Planning Diva, is setting out to disrupt the trillion-dollar events industry by making the process an interactive, real-time experience for industry professionals. Her tenure coordinating and managing events as owner of Occasionally Fabulous Events in Denver inspired her to launch the all-in-one event-planning software. The platform offers users a cohesive, start-to-finish process for planners, venues, and vendors through tools such as vendor chat threads, venue layout simulation, and shared design tools.
From tracking line items and task lists to contract management and idea sharing, Planning Diva promises to save time, reduce stress, and build better relationships among planners, clients, caterers, designers, and more. An enterprise version of Planning Diva that targets event-planning teams coordinating multiday events is set to launch in July.
