The Auraria Campus in Denver is well known as a shared campus for three institutions of higher education: Metropolitan State University of Denver, University of Colorado Denver, and Community College of Denver—but there also are three distinct venues specifically on the Metropolitan State campus for events of all sizes.
- Tivoli Turnhalle, located inside the Tivoli Student Union, has stand-out features like beautiful molding around the stage, vaulted ceilings, and a wrap-around balcony overlooking the main event space courtesy of its 1870s design. Turnhalle accommodates 350 for banquets and 450 theater-style.
- The Tivoli Quad covers 4 acres and is Auraria Campus’ largest outdoor venue, with the Tivoli Student Union and Denver cityscape as backdrops.
- St. Cajetan’s is a Spanish colonial Catholic church built in 1925 that was the hub of the Auraria neighborhood’s Spanish-speaking community until 1973. This landmark church is now a multipurpose event center featuring a main hall that holds up to 150 for banquets and 250 theater-style.
