Low Budget

» Keep food costs down by selecting an event time that doesn’t require a full meal-or even heavy hors d’oeuvres-such as afternoon tea or an after-lunch coffee bar.

» Mitigate entertainment costs by choosing a top soloist instead of a band or trio, but be sure to contract someone exceptional. Remember, it’s entertainment that drives your event.

» Choose a venue that already has a look to match your theme to balance décor costs. Find out what amenities come with the venue and be sure to preview all of them. For example, some venues provide tables and chairs that don’t require coverings to look good.

 

High Budget

» Be in step with the latest food trends-not only what’s hot and new, but also dietary considerations such as gluten-free options.

» Keep entertainment intriguing throughout the event by hiring a cast capable of providing multiple services and costume changes, such as a contortionist who can also perform an aerial show.

» Consider commissioning new props, backdrops, etc., to make décor unique and in support of your company’s brand.
