Located at the base of Vail Mountain, the 285-room Grand Hyatt Vail is celebrating a milestone 2022/2023 ski season with programming that combines new activities and returning favorites in tandem with the property’s 40th anniversary and the ski resort’s Vail Mountain’s 60th year.

The chic and cozy Moët Imperial Yurt is back for a second winter and open to the public Wednesday through Saturday, from 3 to 6 p.m. The yurt features fire pits, champagne, cocktails, charcuterie, and more and is available for private events, along with the private dining room at Gessner Restaurant & Bar and the property’s board rooms.

In celebration of Vail Mountain’s anniversary, the Moët Yurt is participating in the Vail Après Passport with specialty drinks and cocktails. A limited number of Vail Après Passports are available throughout the season at special passport drops. Special après events and giveaways are open to passport holders who check off all that Vail après ski has to offer.

Yoshimi Pop-Up also returns for a second winter at Grand Hyatt Vail. In collaboration with the culinary team from the renowned Yoshimi Restaurant at Hyatt Regency, Mexico City, pop-up highlights include signature maki rolls, handmade nigiri, and Sapporo and Suntory Highball whiskey on tap.

In addition, several staples are available for groups and leisure guests, including daily s’mores roasting, champagne sabering and a complimentary toast, hot cocoa, freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, ad axe throwing with Wood & Steel Axe Company, and Topgolf sessions in the Swing Suites.

Groups also will appreciate the 40,000 square feet of meeting and event space and the easy access to skiing and snowboarding via the on-site, open-air quad chairlift Chair 20. Ski and snowboard rental, valet, and concierge services are available through Venture Sports at Grand Hyatt Vail.

Although there is plenty to do at the property, complimentary shuttle service to Lionshead and Vail Village is available to check out all the local action.
