Denver-based CoralTree Hospitality has expanded its collection of hotels and resorts in Colorado. Hotel Columbia in Telluride is now managed by the subsidiary of Los Angeles based Lowe, along with Magnolia Hotel Denver, The Eddy Taproom & Hotel in Golden, and The Hotel at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, which is scheduled to open in 2024.
The 21-room Hotel Columbia, now part of CoralTree Hospitality, is located in the heart of downtown Telluride across the street from the free gondola, which provides easy access to Mountain Village and Telluride Ski Resort. The boutique hotel’s room configurations range from plush hotel rooms to a three-bedroom penthouse suite. There is complimentary breakfast and on-site ski storage for guests.
Hotel Columbia is also home to COSMOpolitan restaurant, a longtime favorite of locals and visitors. Chef Chad Scothorn brought his culinary vision to Telluride in 1996 after 22 years in restaurants from Oklahoma to Argentina. Small groups will enjoy the lodging and dining options at Hotel Columbia, now part of CoralTree Hospitality, and the easy access to both the historic downtown district and Mountain Village. Telluride Conference Center is located in Mountain Village for groups needing meeting and event space.
