Some of the latest meetings and events industry news out of Denver is Impact Point Group’s acquisition by Freeman on April 12. Founded in 2007, Impact Point Group is a nationally certified women-owned enterprise that offers event team facilitation along with event strategy, design, management, and measurement.

Impact Point Group becomes involved at the very beginning stage of an event lifecycle and helps clients define their overall event portfolio strategy, including the impact events can have on business. The business’s client roster includes Cisco, Atlassian, DocuSign, and other market-leading technology brands.

“Events are a strategic platform and vital to a company’s overall marketing and engagement strategy,” says Adam Charles, executive vice president of Freeman’s agency and professional services. “Our goal is to be in lockstep with our clients at every point of an event lifecycle—from the earliest planning stages to the bottom-line outcomes.”

He adds, “Impact Point Group augments our current strategy offerings and complements our recent investments in creative talent, content development and content production. We are happy to introduce an early-stage strategy framework to the work we do.”

Erica Spoor, president and chief strategist of Impact Point Group, leads a team of 16 employees and “is inspired to join an organization that has prioritized DEI programming and has been recognized by Forbes as a top workplace for women,” she says.

Impact Point Group’s acquisition by Freeman furthers the company’s growth, adding to the offices operated around the United States and in Toronto, Canada; London, England; and Shanghai, China.
