Two industry professionals are now contributing their years of experience to promoting and selling The Broadmoor as a place for groups to gather in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
One of the new sales team members for The Broadmoor is Eva Prezenkowski, CEM, the new director of convention sales. She most recently served as sales account manager for the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority in North Carolina where she championed the Charlotte Convention Center as a venue for conventions, meetings, and citywide events.
Prior to her time in Charlotte, Prezenkowski honed her sales skills at the Pasadena Convention & Visitors Bureau and Convention Center in California for 10 years and held various trade show sales positions with Americas Mart and Merchandise Mart properties while residing in Atlanta, Georgia, and Los Angeles, California.
April Flagg has been named director of national accounts, Northeast and international sales, after completing more than five years of service as national sales manager at The Peabody Memphis located in the heart of downtown Memphis, Tennessee.
Raised in Texas, Flagg’s career journey in the mid-South has provided her a taste of a wide range of industries including country clubs, hotels, restaurants, and media. In the hotel service industry, her employment has spanned nearly every department including front office, housekeeping, meetings, reservations coordinator, sales, and more. Prior to The Peabody and being selected as a new sales team member for The Broadmoor, Flagg worked for Hilton Garden Inn in Memphis for nearly two years.
The Broadmoor is the longest consecutively rated Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond resort worldwide. The resort’s campus and three Wilderness Experience properties—The Ranch at Emerald Valley, Cloud Camp, and Fly Fishing Camp—encompass 5,000 acres. In addition, The Broadmoor owns and manages three attractions in the Colorado Springs area: The Broadmoor Manitou and Pikes Peak Cog Railway, Seven Falls, and Soaring Adventure zip line courses.
