Choice Hotels International, Inc., Crescent Hotels & Resorts and Murphy Asset Management announced the opening of Chicago’s newest contemporary hotel, Cambria Chicago Loop - Theatre District.

Managed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts, Cambria Chicago Loop - Theatre District, will be located above the Oriental Theatre at 32 W. Randolph.

“The Oriental Theatre is one of the city’s most iconic landmarks,” says Michael George, Founder, president and CEO of Crescent Hotels & Resorts. “We are honored to be able to preserve its cultural significance while also contributing to the city’s booming hotel scene.”

The building was originally constructed as a theater and Masonic Temple. It was designed as a 3,250-seat theater presenting first-run movies and lavish stage shows.

Cambria Chicago Loop – Theatre District will be situated on the upper 19 floors of the 22-story building and feature 199 guest rooms. There will be two suites, a game room, shuffleboard, foosball and TVs for watching games, a fitness center and 2,600 square feet of potential meeting rooms. Amenities also include AV capabilities, valet parking for all guests and customizable menus.

Business travelers will feel at home with the oversized rooms with the latest technology, including Smart TVs, Bluetooth capabilities and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Social Circle, the dining destination, is led by Executive Chef Michael DeMaria. Social Circle will serve breakfast and dinner, focusing on healthy options for guests. The bistro also caters to guests on the go with freshly prepared grab-and-go gourmet salads and sandwiches.

The hotel is within walking distance of John Hancock Center, Skydeck Chicago and the Chicago Riverwalk and endless dining options.

The widely recognized Chateau on the Lake Resort, Spa, & Convention Center of Branson, Missouri, has captured the coveted “Best of MidAmerica Award” from Meetings Today magazine. Readers of the magazine determined recipients of the award, voting on a handful of the top MidAmerica meeting sites based off of quality of meeting space, guest rooms, services and amenities, food and beverage offerings, staff, availability of technical equipment, recreational facilities and activities, and overall experience.

 

Oklahoma City officials recently unveiled the MAPS 3 Oklahoma City Convention Center’s new brand featuring a colorful, high-energy logo.

“Everyone has seen the rise of the MAPS 3 Oklahoma City Convention Center on the east side of Scissortail Park, and its completion will be another MAPS game-changer for our City,” says Mayor David Holt. “Today’s logo unveiling is another milestone on that path.”
