The International Live Events Association announced recognition of the following event professionals who recently earned the Certified Special Events Professional designation.
ILEA endorses and manages the voluntary CSEP program for those who meet standards. Earning the CSEP designation demonstrates a continuous dedication to enhance individual and professional performance.
The International Live Events Association announced the six event professionals who have earned the Certified Special Events Professional certification in July 2016.
The recipients are: Katie Coleman, CSEP, Micayla Diener, CSEP, Daniela Grafman, CSEP, John Jossifakis, CSEP, Erin Kneesel, CSEP and Katie Krause, CSEP.
Richard Aaron, CSEP Emeritus, MFA, and member of the International Live Events AssociationI will be inducted into the Convention Industry Council Hall of Leaders at IMEX America, Oct. 18–20, in Las Vegas.
“Richard, for more than 40 years, has never once stopped offering up inspiration to every segment of our industry,” says Jodi Collen, CSEP, immediate past president, ILEA. “He is very deserving of the CIC Hall of Leaders Award, and we are proud to have him affiliated with ILEA.”

The accreditation, established in 1993, is given to event professionals who successfully demonstrate the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for planning and executing all components of an event.
