• Dream Hollywood’s Executive Management Team Appointed

Hotel brand and management company Dream Hotel Group has announced three new hospitality executives to lead Dream Hollywood in Los Angeles: Ayo Akinsete as general manager, Kendall Viola as director of sales and marketing, and Carly Skinner as manager. The team will lead the hotel through its February 2017 launch.

“Los Angeles has long been on our short list of dynamic U.S. cities for growth, and we are thrilled to have such a strong and talented team in place as we introduce our founding brand to the west coast,” says Jay Stein, CEO, Dream Hotel Group. “Ayo, Kendall and Carly are exceptional leaders, bringing a wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise to Dream Hollywood.”

Viola brings ten years of hospitality experience to her position. She will be responsible for leading all sales efforts. As manager, Skinner will oversee the front office, guest services and housekeeping departments. She also brings ten years of hospitality experience to her latest position.

Akinsete will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the 178-room property and ensuring the success of the hotel’s six food and beverage venues.

After 7 years of planning, the VanDyk Mortgage Convention Center is now open in downtown Muskegon. The official ribbon cutting took place on April 12, 2021.  

 

On September 1, over 1,500 businesses across the country illuminated their buildings with red lights to draw attention to the devastation that the live events and performance art industries have faced as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

According to a survey commissioned by the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA), frequent travelers feel safer when hotels adhere to AHLA's Stay Safe guidelines, which detail cleaning protocols for hotels during the COVID-19 pandemic.
