• Edgewood Tahoe Lodge Opens

On June 14, the Edgewood Tahoe Lodge opened to the public on a 250-acre property on the south shore of Lake Tahoe. The lodge has a variety of amenities in addition to its LEED design, including a 18-hole championship golf course, a 8,500-square-foot spa, luxury guest rooms, the Bistro, an Adventure Center and Camp Edgewood.

The 154 guest rooms at the lodge include four different types for guests to choose from, as well as three different options for views from the rooms. Each guest at the lodge is treated to an in-room gas fireplace, premium linens, free Wi-Fi, valet parking, a lakefront heated pool and hot tub, no resort fee, and a terrace or balcony with seating areas.

The Bistro at the Edgewood Tahoe Lodge offers a full-service space for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the mountain-chic and urban contemporary space. Alongside the warm toned woods and design details is the casual, seasonal options that are the perfect fit for all types of guests.

The Spa at Edgewood Tahoe provides guests with the opportunity to relax in a peaceful space, enveloped by the natural elements in the area of Lake Tahoe. This space on the second floor of the lodge uses Naturopathica, Aveda and Eminence products, which only use organic and sustainably harvested ingredients, which are available for purchase.

Outside the lodge, the Adventure Center gives guests and families the opportunity to boat, jet ski, bike, kayak, paddleboard, fish, parasail and go on tours of the area, whether it be self-guided or led by the Edgewood Adventure team. For parents wanting their children to experience nature with other children their age, Camp Edgewood is a perfect option. Camp Edgewood is available for children from school aged until 12 years old, and encompasses topics of culinary, fitness, the environment and art.

It won’t be quite the same as ordering a pizza or nachos to be delivered to your front door but getting eats at venues is taking a leap toward convenience with a new collaboration: DoorDash has become ASM Global’s “On-Demand Delivery Platform” partner, launching at ASM Global’s top North American arenas, stadiums, theaters, and convention centers in the coming months. The partnership will allow attendees to skip traditional lines by leveraging DoorDash services to order within the arena for pickup.

 

Located on the River Walk, the Hyatt Regency San Antonio Riverwalk has completed its $38 million renovation just in time for its 40thanniversary. The renovation broke ground in December 2021. The hotel’s 602 guestrooms and 28 suites were redesigned to reflect an upscale urban experience.
