The 2018 Emerald City Applause Awards were held March 22, 2018 at Fremont Foundry. This was the 13th year for the industry event that honors event production, support services and marketing professionals.

The International Live Events Association (ILEA) Dallas Chapter spread some holiday cheer at its annual Holiday Giveback. The organization chose to work with Senior Source and the Diversicare facility. Members of the group held a party for the facility complete with caroling, live music, holiday crafts and bingo—and of course plenty of cookies and punch. The group also collected items for Diversicare’s wish list, along with a $5 donation from each member who registered for the networking happy hour that followed the party.
