We're in the midst of Pope Francis' visit to the U.S. The historic event has been making news everywhere. Since Tuesday, he has traveled to Washington, D.C., and New York. His next stop? Philadelphia. Close to 1 million people are expected to head to the area for the 8th World Meeting of Families. The pope will host a Papal Mass at the Cathedral Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul upon arrival and attend the World Meeting of Families later that evening.

J. Scott Walsh, founder and president of the company, and a culinary arts graduate of Paul Smith’s College, started his catering career in his parent’s home. Then, in 1996, he opened a brick-and-mortar facility in the Malvern Shopping Center; in 2004, he moved the company to its current, 10,000-square foot location.

The Philadelphia Area Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (PAMPI) held its monthly meeting on January 21 at the Courtyard Philadelphia South at The Navy Yard. There were a little over 90 people in attendance at this networking event, which invited industry executives to greet, meet and eat while making new friends.
