Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is undergoing renovations to be completed by September. The Five Diamond AAA resort is renovating 458 standard guest rooms and 20 luxury suites as well as the Princess Pool, which is recognized as one of the Top Ten Pools in America by reader polls in USA Today and other national publications.

There renovated guest rooms and luxury suites will boast modernized bathrooms, new furniture and bedding, an Echo Dot with an "Ask the Princess" menu, and televisions equipped with more than 1,000 apps to stream Netflix, Hulu and more. The Princess Pool renovations include a single-level pool deck, which will offer sweeping views of the McDowell Mountains and TPC Scottsdale. Lounge seating also will be expanded to accommodate larger groups at the pool.

Director of Sales and Marketing Pam Gilbert says Fairmont Scottsdale Princess' 14 outdoor event venues, six pools, spa atrium, fitness rooms and top-ranked restaurants make the resort popular among meeting and event planners.

"Allow our unique in-house destination management department, Adventure and Experiences, to create events that are unforgettable," Gilbert says. "Nobody knows how to showcase your event in our resort and local venues better than our in-house Adventures & Experiences team!"

The resort's "Foodie Gurus" team can help planners create memorable, out-of-the-box menus for their meetings and events, Gilbert adds. Interactive food experience and stations are common among events, as are resort "taste makers," such as a tequila tasting. Restaurant buyouts are also available, especially for larger groups looking for a more private venue.
