• Fontainebleau Miami Beach Appoints Executive Director of Sales

Fontainebleau Miami Beach announced the appointment of Kevin Bryant as executive director of sales for the Miami resort. After nearly a decade of service at the hotel, Bryant returns to Fontainebleau Miami Beach to lead the sales team and maximize new revenue opportunities at the 1,504-room, 22-acre oceanfront resort. 

“We are thrilled to have Kevin Bryant take on a new role as executive director of sales,” says Philip Goldfarb, president and chief operating officer, Fontainebleau Miami Beach. “Combining years of hotel experience with a demonstrated understanding of our property, Kevin will play an important role in the growth and success of Fontainebleau Miami Beach.” 

Bryant holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Ball State University, and has held positions at Boca Raton Resort & Club as director of revenue management and Registry Report as marketing and revenue manager. 

After holding the position of director of sales and revenue management at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, Bryant served as corporate director of revenue management at Turnberry Associates, where he was responsible for creating new revenue management structure and culture across the hospitality portfolio. He also served on the asset committees for numerous properties across Turnberry Associates’ portfolio. 

The Discover Lehigh Valley board of directors voted to appoint Alex Michaels as its next president. Michaels, a former Lehigh Valley resident and 1987 Whitehall High School graduate, will bring more than 25 years of executive sales and management experience within the hospitality and tourism, and sports council industries to his position. In March, Discover Lehigh Valley’s current and long-time president, Michael Stershic, announced he would retire at the end of 2018.

RMC, the largest privately owned destination management company in North America recently appointed a new General Manager, Christin Tubbs, who will now be directing RMC’s Aspen and Vail offices. 

 

Jerry Bindel has been named general manager for Forest Suites Resort at Heavenly Village, in South Lake Tahoe, California.
