Ghost Winery Comes Back to Life

Image:

Bergfeld Vineyard is what’s known as a ghost winery, one of many that were built in Napa Valley during the region’s first wine boom from 1860 to 1900, then shut down during Prohibition. Acquired by the Hall family in 2003, it has been lovingly restored to its historic splendor and is now a new event space in the courtyard of what is now the HALL St. Helena winery. The Bergfeld building offers several different reception and meeting options.
