The Wyndham Hotel Group has introduced their new Trademark Hotel Collection. Aimed at upper-midscale-and-above hotels, the Trademark Hotel Collection is designed for landmark hotels with individual character that are interested in taking advantage of the Wyndham Hotel Group's scale, distribution, services and loyalty program.
On Oct. 24, Visit Seattle appointed Charles Pinckney as the convention sales national account director. In his new role, he will be responsible for the Chicago area and the international market.
Pinckney graduated from Western Oregon University with a degree in international studies and two minors—one in German and another in political science. Pinckney has worked as account director, global sales North America, for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide; and most recently as associate director of sales Sheraton Grand Chicago/Westin River North in Chicago.
Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts announced their new Exclusives and Buyouts program for their guests. The program is aimed to accommodate groups who are coming to the hotel for meetings.
