1. What are you looking forward to the most in your new role as General Manager?

Honua Kai Resort & Spa Debuts New Aloha Lounge

On Aug. 14, Honua Kai Resort & Spa in Lahaina, Hawaii, announced the opening of their new Aloha Lounge, which will serve as an exclusive benefit of guests who book directly with the resort, who wish to arrive early or check out late to extend their stay in Hawaii. Honua Kai's all-suite luxury resort is located on Maui's Kaanapali North Beach.

Open 10 a.m.-8 p.m. daily, the Aloha Lounge will provide indoor and outdoor seating areas, towels and chairs for the pool or beach, and a kid's play area with complimentary snacks.

Magnolia Hotel & Spa Unveils New Lobby for Spring

Magnolia Hotel & Spa's lobby renovations are officially complete.

Victoria-based design Sandy Nygaard worked to bring a timeless design to create a classic yet contemporary space for guests. The design includes detailed drapery, carpet and furnishings.

“The lobby is our living room,” says Bill Lewis, general manager. “We want guests to feel at home here, whether reading by the fire, working on their laptops or sitting back to sip a tea or coffee. This makeover will make it even more inviting.”
