The Hilton Americas-Houston hotel has appeared on the list of top 100 hotels in the United States by Cvent, an industry-leading event management technology company, for the second time.

The list was ordered by analyzing group booking activity through the Cvent Supplier Network. Properties were ranked according to various criteria, including total requests for proposals (RFPs), awarded RFPs, total room nights, major metropolitan area (MMA) market share and response rate.

“I am really proud of our team,” says Jacques D’Rovencourt, hotel general manager. “It shows the staff’s pride, commitment and consistency in delivering great experiences for every guest and every event.”  

The downtown Houston hotel is hailed as a superb meetings and events space with 92,500 square feet of technologically advanced meeting space. Some features include digital reader boards in ballrooms and meeting rooms capable of displaying company logos and video presentations, and connectivity available from the hotel to the connected George R. Brown Convention Center for a seamless private network experience.  

The hotel also features rooftop lounges, a Starbucks, restaurants, lobby bars, and meeting spaces with long arched windows that look out to Green Discovery Park. It is located between the Toyota Center and Minute Maid Park. 

“Our spaces offer functionality for guests to be able to navigate through our meeting space with ease,” D’Rovencourt says. “The meeting space was designed based on the feedback we received directly from meeting planners.” 

BĒT Vodka is taking its popular craft cocktails to the streets with its new travel bar, which opened in June. The travel bar can be set up indoors or outdoors and can be customized with signage or other furnishings to suit your event.

 

Aurora, Colorado has earned the 33rd ranking on Cvent's list of Top 50 Meeting Destinations in the United States for 2019. This ranking is a nine-point increase from 2018 and a 23-point increase from 2017.

Piazza della Famiglia, a new outdoor event venue, joins San Diego’s Little Italy with a grand 10,000-square-foot European-style piazza. The Italian-inspired venue spans one city block and is sure to charm with its views of the San Diego Bay and 25-foot tiled fountain with up-lighting.
