In addition to the property, both Abigail Flynn, general manager, and Traci Kessler, director of sales, were given a Merit Award. Flynn and Kessler have each previously received this award as well as General Manager and Director of Sales of the Year awards.

“We’re very proud that the team at Hilton Garden Inn Durham-University Medical Center continues to be recognized by Hilton for their outstanding work in hospitality,” says Greg MacLean, senior director of operations for The Olympia Companies. “Both Abigail and Traci are outstanding in their roles, and they continue to lead a great team at the hotel, which received HGI brand awards in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017.”
