• The Hilton Garden Inn Durham-University Medical Center Earns Third Pride Merit Award

Hilton recognizes Hilton Garden Inn Durham-University Medical Center for its outstanding service with the Pride Merit Award. This award is given to the top 5 percent of properties within the brand that have excelled in all brand requirements, and this is the third time this location has been honored.

The Hilton Garden Inn Durham-University Medical Center boasts 128 guest rooms, 1,850 square feet of meeting space, 24-hour business center, fitness center, indoor pool and the Garden Grille and Bar.

In addition to the property, both Abigail Flynn, general manager, and Traci Kessler, director of sales, were given a Merit Award. Flynn and Kessler have each previously received this award as well as General Manager and Director of Sales of the Year awards.

The Broadmoor is welcoming a new 125,000-square-foot Exhibition Hall in spring 2020, an addition to the existing Broadmoor Hall, International Center and Colorado Hall to form “The Broadmoor Event Center.”  

The Broadmoor will be the only Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond awarded hotel in the country to operate a large on-site exhibition space.
