• Hyatt Times Square Debuts Year-Round Terrace

Hyatt Times Square New York announced their recently designed Salon Terrace, a year-round terrace open for meetings and events. Overlooking West 45th Street, the second floor Salon Terrace is flooded with natural light and provides the illusion of being outdoors.

“The Salon Terrace brings the tranquil feeling of being outdoors which is unique to the usual bustling energy of midtown Manhattan,” says Vincent de Croock, the director of sales, marketing and events at Hyatt Times Square. “Clients can better visualize their event in a setting that combats the unpredictable seasons, making this an added value which contributes to the premium experience already available at Hyatt Times Square.”

The terrace features 4,000 square feet; guests also can utilize three types of Salons to add extra space for their event. These combinations can host a variety of events with anywhere from 100 to 200 attendees.

Groups that book their events at the Salon Terrace, in addition to the Hyatt’s other meeting spaces, can have their events catered by the hotel’s Chef Nick Pelliccione. They offer a range of menu options, including a recently added food package, BBQ Butler Passed Canape and BBQ Beverage Packag. Both options provide a taste of the South in the middle of the city. With offerings such as grilled bacon-wrapped scallops and Arnold Palmers, the options are endless.

“The BBQ menus are a perfect complement to the refreshed Salon Terrace space and provide an unexpected flair that is different from the usual offerings most venues offer in midtown,” says Chef Nick Pelliccione. “The food and beverage staff is excited in providing these new offerings and we believe our clients will enjoy having a wider menu selection for all their event needs.”

The Hyatt Times Square features multiple spaces to accommodate a range of events. Whether it’s an intimate reception or a three-day conference, they aim to meet their client’s needs.

Event planners often schedule meetings and events in natural places near wilderness areas, at waterfront resorts, and at mountain event spaces. It won’t be quite the same as ordering a pizza or nachos to be delivered to your front door but getting eats at venues is taking a leap toward convenience with a new collaboration: DoorDash has become ASM Global’s “On-Demand Delivery Platform” partner, launching at ASM Global’s top North American arenas, stadiums, theaters, and convention centers in the coming months. The partnership will allow attendees to skip traditional lines by leveraging DoorDash services to order within the arena for pickup.

 

Located on the River Walk, the Hyatt Regency San Antonio Riverwalk has completed its $38 million renovation just in time for its 40thanniversary. The renovation broke ground in December 2021. The hotel’s 602 guestrooms and 28 suites were redesigned to reflect an upscale urban experience.
