The All-New Space is Open for Business

Book your event in a space with a blank canvas and let your ideas inform the venue. That’s the idea behind the new IDEA Studio in downtown Chicago. Housed in the International Interior Design Association office, this venue has an intricate mosaic-tiled entryway, which gives way to walls of windows and a clean design that serves as a canvas for any kind of event. Amenities like state-of-the-art A/V and meals in the on-site catering kitchen can be included.

“Our guests love the openness and personality of the space,” says Anastasia Gedman, special events manager at IIDA. “Clients aren’t confined to a dull, windowless meeting room—instead, they are surrounded by floor-to-ceiling views of Michigan Avenue and custom-designed offices.”

The IIDA office offers 2,800 square feet of flexible space. Smaller options include an executive boardroom, multiple conference rooms, a reception space and intimate lounge vignettes.

The home of Rockford’s new entrepreneurial event space may date back to the 1920s, but Rockford City Market is primed to showcase future creatives and makers of all kinds.

Want to add a literary flavor to your next event–literally? Host a gathering at a library to add a scholarly tone to your fête. You could even go all-in with a literature-themed dress code. Here are some suggestions for a “novel” approach to event planning.

When you're in the mountains, it’s truly difficult to be bored. From skiing and snowboarding to hiking and climbing, the U.S. Mountain West and western Canada know how to keep things interesting when it comes to outdoor activities. But sometimes, the best way to enjoy the mountains is to sit back and take in the expansive views. Take your meetings to the mountains without the heavy snow gear and winter boots by hosting your next event on a rooftop venue surrounded by breathtaking mountains.
