Many people focus on only three of the five senses: taste, sight and sound. Rarely do planners pay attention to touch or smell. Strategically paying attention to scent and how it interacts with other sensory experiences can greatly impact the overall quality of an event.
The eighth annual ILEA Denver Excellence Awards Gala was held at Parkside Mansion with a cocktail hour, dinner, awards and auction making up the evening of fun and networking. ILEA members and guests dined on a gourmet four-course meal prepared by Three Tomatoes Catering.
Hosting an International Live Events Association Denver Chapter meeting in Colorado Springs, a longtime vision of board member Tami Forero, became a reality in November as more than 60 event pros gathered at the historic Colorado Springs School for drinks from Sovereignty Wines, dinner by Garden of the Gods Gourmet Catering & Events and a presentation about networking and building relationships.
