Hans Ritten recently joined the Remington Hotels family as the new general manager of Silversmith Hotel. In his new position, Ritten’s responsibilities will include improving guest satisfaction scores, managing daily operations, implementing a new food and beverage concept and overseeing Silversmith Hotel’s $12 million renovation.

Before joining on at Remington Hotels, Ritten managed One Ocean Resort & Spa in Atlantic Beach, Fla., where he oversaw daily operations for the 193-room resort. While under his management, One Ocean Resort & Spa earned top awards from Condé Nast Traveler, Travel & Leisure, AAA four-diamond and Forbes Travel Guide Four Star status.

Ritten holds degrees in both business administration and hotel and restaurant administration. He has served as the director of food and beverage for Philadelphia Marriott Downtown, Baltimore Marriott Waterfront and Baltimore Marriott Inner Harbor. He has also served as the director of operations at University Club of the University of Missouri, as well as the Kansas City Airport Marriott.
