The Hilton Chicago/Oak Brook Hills Resort & Conference Center will now offer a Delayed Response food and beverage discount. This means that guests who experience a flight delay of any sort will receive money off their food and drinks at the resort.
“The challenges that come along with flying today impact most of us at some point,” said Stefan Muhle, general manager at Hilton Chicago/Oak Brook Hills Resort & Conference Center. “The next time a guest of ours is delayed, we will respond with a warm gesture and show them Oak Brook Hills cares.”
The resort will be offering guests 10 percent off all hotel food and drink items for one hour flight delays, 25 percent off two hour delays and 50 percent off for delays that exceed three hours. Guests must only inform the front desk of their delay and they will receive their Delayed Response voucher, which is valid at any of the hotel’s food and beverage outlets during the duration of their wait or their forthcoming stay.
On top of that, guests will also be invited to decompress at either of the resorts seasonally-inspired restaurants, cafes or lounge that overlook the 150 acre estate and gold course. The Grille offers farm-to-table culture from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. The Grille Patio is open to guests during the warmer months at every time of the day. The Lobby Cafe offers beverages including tea, blended coffees, esperesso and Starbucks. The Lobby Lounge provides guests with signature drinks and cocktails made with fresh juices. Chef-driven room service is also available.
