As summer approaches, it’s prime time to hit the green, and we have heard of two great new options for your group golf outings.
First is a package deal at Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles. The Rise & Nine option is for golfers that don’t have time for a full 18-hole course but want to get in some play time during the week before a day full of meetings. With this option, you can book tee time as early as 6 a.m. and golf until 9 a.m. This deal is available every Monday through Friday and priced at just $29 per person, which includes a golf cart and complimentary coffee. Want to hold your meetings on site? Pheasant Run Resort also offers 88,000 square feet of meeting space including 32 meeting rooms, an expo center, four distinct ballrooms and a 320-seat tiered amphitheater.
For groups that want another fun team-building option, City Mini Golf is now open at Maggie Daley Park (337 E. Randolph) through October. This year, course operators opted to expand and enhance the 18-hole course with hills, dips, ramps and other features. The course features replicas of iconic Chicago structures, including a 6-foot tall replica of the Willis Tower and a Plinko-inspired take on the famous Picasso sculpture at Daley Center. Additional upgrades include multiple levels hole and more challenging obstacles, with more features to debut throughout the season. There’s also the option for eating on-site with a range of picnic groves and food and beverage concessions. Group discounts are available.
