Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole welcomed Emma Matilda, a 16-weekold Bernese mountain dog last May. She has been melting the hearts of guests, groups and staff ever since. Tillie is named after the wife of William O. Owen who was the first, along with three other climbers, to ascend to the summit of Grand Teton in 1898. Anvil Hotel, a new 49-room property in downtown Jackson Hole, is actually a renovation of two buildings originally constructed as a motel in the 1950s. The hotel’s lobby functions as both a café and mercantile curated by high-end outdoor retailer, Westerlind. The hotel’s restaurant, Glorietta Trattoria, is named after Jackson’s nearby Mount Glory and located a short walk from the lobby on Glenwood Street.

The 58-room, eco-conscious Hotel Jackson, opened in June and situated in the heart of downtown Jackson Hole, combines rustic elegance with a contemporary Western design. The walls are crafted from reclaimed barn wood and the décor includes leather, hides, thick wools and pillows and curtains printed with feathers, antlers and bison.
