Asbury Ocean Club Hotel is bringing the very first luxury five-star boutique hotel experience to the shores of New Jersey. Slated to open by July 4, Asbury Ocean Club Hotel will have 54 guestrooms and a large meeting space that can be divided into three smaller spaces. As a boutique hotel, the space will be ideal for weddings, wedding-related events, business meetings and family gatherings.

The quaint hotel will pay homage to Asbury Park's renowned restaurant scene, including partnerships with Asbury Park Distilling Co., Maiden Coffee and Asbury Park Brewery. A fine-dining restaurant will also join the property's culinary offerings in 2020.

The heart of the hotel's design is the Drawing Room, an awe-inspiring “glass house” floating on a glistening reflection pool at the center of the property that's designed to feel like a home rather than a hotel. The space functions as a living room, open kitchen doubling as a bar, music room and all-day retreat.

Guests will be able to enjoy a clean, Mediterranean-inspired menu served all day in the Drawing Room, beside the pool, in guestrooms with 24-hour full room service or in The Gallery. On the ground floor will be the restaurant and 22,000 square feet of retail space, which will feature local and national brands, slated to open in 2020.

“There’s a kind of magic to being at the beach, in any season or weather, and that’s what’s captured in every detail of the Asbury Ocean Club Hotel,” says hotel design lead Anda Andrei.  “The hotel conveys a feeling you usually have to travel very far to experience - the peace and relaxation of a one-of-a-kind oasis. With that in mind, our design is focused on connecting every guest with gentle dunes and tranquil reflecting pools.”

Forbes Travel Guide’s 2019 World’s Best Rooms awards Bernardus Lodge & Spa a place on its verified list of 41 hotel properties. Located in California’s wine country, this Carmel Valley property joins the list that showcases hotels from 17 different countries.

Benchmark is adding Washington's Skamania Lodge to its portfolio of resorts and hotels.

The Hotel Concord diversifies its meeting and events facilities as it opens two new executive boardrooms. The boardrooms can accommodate smaller meetings and events in addition to the venue’s two larger meeting rooms.
