Turnberry Associates, a Miami-based real estate developer, has revealed the plans for the new JW Marriott opening in downtown Nashville in 2018. The 33-story property will be shaped like an elliptical and will be a prominent part of Nashville’s skyline at 386 feet tall.

The hotel will be located within 2 miles of Nashville’s landmarks, including: the Music City Center, The Country Music Hall of Fame, Shermerhorn Symphony Center and The Ryman Auditorium.

“I would like to express our pride in taking part in the remarkable revitalization of one of the country’s most thriving and vibrant cities,” says Jeffrey Soffer, Co-Chairman and CEO at Turnberry Associates. “We are thrilled with the plans for JW Marriott Nashville, as we feel the design and public spaces of the hotel including the roof top bar, five-star dining experience, Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina, meeting offerings and spa and fitness facilities will continue to position Nashville as a luxury destination for both leisure and business travelers.”

The 533-room hotel will be located just 10 miles from Nashville’s airport and boast 50,000 square feet of meeting and event space, two ballrooms, 16 meeting rooms and two boardrooms with high quality audio visual and wireless technology.

The Minnesota State Fair is essentially a red carpet event for Minnesotans. That is, if red carpet events include food that is either fried, on a stick, or both. To celebrate the great love that Minnesotans have for their state, Radisson Blu Mall of America is offering state fair-themed meetings.
