Restaurant Recommendation: Dine By the Sea at Long Branch's Avenue

Image:

When you think of the Jersey shore it’s not often that France comes to mind, but Long Branch’s Avenue looks and feels like a fresh French breeze. The restaurant sits right on the boardwalk overlooking the beach and Atlantic Ocean. Inside, the décor is Atlantic-themed (take one look at that 25-foot bar inspired by the hull of a ship and there’s no doubt you’re at the beach). Floor-to-ceiling windows frame views of the ocean.

3 of New Jersey's Top Restaurants Take the Spotlight

Awards do not come easily in the restaurant business. Michelin, AAA and Forbes tell us who the best is (and Wine Spectator when it comes to vino), and there are only a select few of local establishments that make the esteemed cut. The Bernards Inn is in rare company, as it is the only restaurant in New Jersey that has made the Forbes list of the top restaurants in the United States. AAA counts just 11 restaurants in its Four-Diamond rating in our state. While you may hear that trophies are handed out just for showing up, it’s clearly not the case when it comes to dining.

Minnesota may be a landlocked Midwest state, but the local restaurants have far more to off er than hotdish. Delicacies from the sea can be found at these dining establishments in the Twin Cities and beyond. For entertaining clients or hosting an event, these locations are a good catch.

Savor a Tradition of Meat and Greet at Colorado Steakhouses

Image:

The time-honored tradition of meeting in an establishment that places value in a perfectly aged steak says a lot about how the host feels about his or her guests. It reflects the importance of the people at the table and creates a lasting impression. And as American steakhouses go, Colorado is in the thick of many fine dining and blue-jean casual restaurants that fit the bill for a successful business outing.

Restaurant Recommendation: 21 Royal at Disneyland

Image:

Disneyland has long attracted groups of all sizes, and a new, exclusive experience will have lucky guests believing in fairy tales again. Called 21 Royal, the epicurean journey for up to 12 guests takes place in a 2,200-square foot two-bedroom apartment that overlooks New Orleans Square in Disneyland Park. It was originally planned as a private residence inside the park for Walt and Lillian Disney, but Walt died before it could be realized.
