JW Marriott Nashville Will Cater to Group Business in Music City

Set to open next year, JW Marriott Nashville will soon become a favorite for meeting and event planners. Located right next to Nashville’s International Airport and across the street from Music City Center, the 533-key hotel will boast 50,000 square feet of flexible event space equipped with state of the art audio visual and wireless technology, allowing guests to make the most of any meeting or special occasion.

Hilton Garden Inn Philadelphia Center City Completes Renovations

Hilton Garden Inn Philadelphia Center City completed renovations to the 10th floor meeting space and the Garden Grille & Bar.

Upgrades include new televisions and furniture on the 10th floor. An ADA motorized lift was installed in the Garden Grille & Bar and will lower one end of the bar to accommodate all guests. The renovations were designed to give the hotel a modern, contemporary look.

Renovations in the 3,400-square-foot 10th floor meeting space also included new window treatments, new carpet and marble countertops.

Meet Minneapolis Announces its Hospitality Awards

Meet Minneapolis, Convention and Visitors Association, revealed the winners of its annual awards at the 2017 Meet Minneapolis Annual Meeting on March 2 at the Minneapolis Convention Center. More than 530 partners, elected officials and other guests attended the event. Meet Minneapolis highlighted a milestone year for hospitality in Minneapolis and unveiled the city’s first-ever tourism master plan, Destination Transformation 2030.

Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa Begins Renovation

Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa is starting their multi-year renovation of the entire property. It will include a complete refurbishment and modernization of its 80 guest rooms. While the rooms are renovated, their offering special rates through April 2017.

“If you haven’t stayed in one of the homes in The Galena Territory, they’re a great base for all the activities we have going on this winter,” says Thomas Ruhs, general manager. “Cross-country skiing, sledding, and ice skating on the pond are just a few of the things you can do including golf since the weather has been warmer."

New Hotel Dossier To Open In Summer 2017

Provenance Hotels is opening a new hotel, Dossier, in downtown Portland. The 205-room hotel is slated to open in the summer of 2017 and will be located at SW Park Ave. and SW Alder St. The property will have an intimate feel and provide a place of refuge for busy travelers.

Splacer Debuts In Los Angeles

Splacer, an online marketplace for event spaces, has expanded to the Los Angeles market. At its debut, the market had 140 listings available to book for meetings and events, including villas, lofts, museums, theaters and more.
