Guided Kayak tours now at Sleeping Bear Dunes

The National Park Service has authorized All About Water to provide guided kayak tours in Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore beginning in summer 2016. All About Water, the only company with the park service’s authorization, will offer regularly scheduled tours that will feature the shore at the base of the Pierce Stocking Scenic Overlook, around Pyramid Point and Good Harbor Bay.

The Detroit Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau honored more than 200 hospitality workers and volunteers at its 21st Annual Recognition of Service Excellence (ROSE) Awards on September 23 at the Detroit Opera House. WXYZ’s Glenda Lewis served as mistress of ceremonies, while the Rodney Lamar Page Band, Kurt J and Evelyn Renee provided entertainment.
