Kalamazoo-based Greenleaf Hospitality Group has launched the official website for the Kalamazoo Event Center, a 430,000-square-foot venue slated to open in 2027. The comprehensive site is designed to connect event planners, vendors, and the broader community with the project well before doors open.
The website provides in-depth information on the multiuse venue, including renderings, progress updates, and a detailed overview of its amenities, including an 8,000-seat concert configuration, 6,500-seat sports setup, full practice ice sheet, multipurpose event rooms, and a dedicated downtown parking structure. Once open, the event center will serve as home to the Western Michigan University men’s and women’s basketball teams, Western Michigan University men’s hockey, and the ECHL’s Kalamazoo Wings hockey team—plus more than 230 annual events.
