Earlier this month, FireKeepers Casino Hotel launched The Embers Bar. The upscale lounge offers meeting attendees not only craft cocktails, beer, and wine, but also a place to relax and connect.
The bar’s name is a reference to the fireplace as a historically significant gathering place, and The Embers Bar was designed with a sense of warmth in mind. Its circular layout gives the space an open feel, meant to encourage social interaction—well-suited for mixers.
“The Embers Bar represents our continued commitment to enhancing every part of the guest experience,” says Michael Hamilton, vice president of food and beverage at FireKeepers Casino Hotel, in a prepared statement. “We wanted to create a space that feels both energizing and comfortable, where guests can unwind with a drink, celebrate with friends, or simply take in the lively atmosphere that makes FireKeepers so special.”
Beyond the new bar, FireKeepers has robust offerings for large groups, regularly hosting conferences, trade shows, expos, and more in its spacious event center, which can flex to accommodate general sessions, meals, exhibitor displays, and breakout meetings. The venue also has flexible meeting space and 11 meeting rooms just off the casino’s main floor. Whether you are hosting small groups of 10-24 people or larger groups of 25-plus, FireKeepers accommodates with its banquet-style dining options—and The Embers Bar is a cozy place for your team to enjoy after-dinner drinks.
Minneapolis-based Cuningham Group Architecture Inc., which is known as a leader in gaming-industry design, along with Holt-based Moore Trosper Construction Co., a longstanding construction partner of FireKeepers, designed and built The Embers Bar. The bar’s design emphasizes light, including elements like a soft LED feature with glowing, shifting illumination, inspired by the casino hotel’s overarching fiery theme.
