Royal Park Hotel in Rochester received a substantial renovation and debuted remodeled guest rooms, event spaces, and public spaces this January. Throughout the property, the refreshed design concept offers a more contemporary, elevated experience for guests. Intended to reflect the hotel’s natural surroundings, the revived interiors feature floral designs and soft color palettes inspired by an English garden and intended to convey luxury.

“This reimagining represents an exciting new chapter for the hotel, one that reflects the beauty of our setting and the elevated experience today’s travelers are seeking,” says Danielle Gilligan, general manager of Royal Park Hotel, in a prepared statement. According to Andrew Salem, director of sales at Royal Park Hotel, the renovation doesn’t just enhance the visual appeal of the venue and its spaces but serves to reinforce the hotel’s commitment to providing meeting and event attendees with a polished and professional experience.

All 143 guest rooms and suites were updated, including suites designed to accommodate group travel. Public spaces within the hotel also were refreshed, including the library and the conservatory, which also serves as an enticing, light-filled gathering space for events. In addition, the hotel’s meeting and event spaces received upgrades to better serve planners and attendees of corporate meetings, conferences, and social events.

The Windsor and Ambassador boardrooms, which accommodate 10 and 14 people, respectively, feature fresh decor and furnishings—including lighting, curtains, and wall treatments, plus new leather chairs, a new executive table, and a new flat-screen television. The spacious 601 Room, with capacity for 40 people and a private built-in bar, boasts all new flooring and barstools, a refreshed back bar counter, a new paint job and artwork, plus refreshed lighting, including wall sconces and recessed lighting.

Through the space’s transformation, Salem expects that meetings and events attendees will benefit from shared and private spaces that are more comfortable and have an improved flow. He says the renovation means an overall elevated experience that is modern and effortless.

“Our focus remains on making the planning process seamless while delivering an exceptional on-site experience for attendees,” explains Salem. “From the initial inquiry through event execution, our team works collaboratively to ensure each event is customized and executed with precision.”
