The Michigan Restaurant & Lodging Association (MRLA) recently recognized outstanding industry professionals for going above and beyond to contribute to the positive image of Michigan’s hospitality industry.
Jennifer Sistrunk, executive director of the South Haven/Van Buren County Convention & Visitors Bureau since 2021, was named the association’s 2023 CVB Star of the Year. Both retiring at the end of last year, Larry Brown of Affinity Group and Dave Lorenz of Travel Michigan both received Stellar Legacy Awards.
