Looking for the ideal location to host your next meeting, retreat, or conference? Plan your next meeting in Mt. Pleasant—where attendance goes to grow! Centrally located in Michigan’s Lower Peninsula and conveniently situated off U.S. Route 127 and state Route 20, less than two hours away from all major Lower Peninsula cities, Mt. Pleasant makes meeting easy.

The central Michigan area has the perfect balance of big-city amenities and a small-Midwest town feel. Mt. Pleasant is home to over 100 restaurants; Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort; the largest gaming floor in Michigan; Central Michigan University; 13 golf courses, Anishinabe culture and traditions; and over 1,500 acres of parkland, 23 nature preserves, and 20 miles of trails.

Mt. Pleasant offers a variety of spaces and venues designed to accommodate gatherings of all sizes and styles. The Mt. Pleasant Comfort Inn & Suites and Conference Center, the Courtyard by Marriott Mt. Pleasant at Central Michigan University, and the Holiday Inn & Suites Mt. Pleasant offer a variety of meeting spaces, breakout rooms, and event rooms. If you are looking outside of the traditional meeting space, plan a meeting at Mid Michigan College, the Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum, or one of the area’s golf courses.

The Mt. Pleasant area also is full of vibrant cultural experiences. Immerse your attendees in the history and heritage of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe of Michigan and other Great Lakes Anishinabe tribes with a guided tour of the Ziibiwing Center of Anishinabe Culture & Lifeways. As the Midwest’s leading Native American museum, Ziibiwing offers engaging exhibits and interactive activities that vividly bring Anishinabe stories to life. Or, for a unique dining experience, attendees can head over to Cup of Joy and try traditional Anishinabe foods like corn soup and fry bread or shop handcrafted beaded jewelry.

Beyond the meeting, Mt. Pleasant offers spaces and activities great for networking. Throw an ax or two at Valhalla Indoor Axe Throwing, attend a sporting event at Central Michigan University, participate in trivia at a Mt. Pleasant bar, try your luck in a slot tournament at Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort, try and solve a Central Escapes escape room, or participate in a glass-etching activity through Art Reach of Mid Michigan.
