Mill District Event Spaces in downtown Minneapolis chose D’Amico Hospitality, a special events company in the Twin Cities, as its hospitality partner. The venue is part of Sherman Associates’ ongoing redevelopment of the historic J.I. Case Building and its broader efforts in the Mill District. D’Amico Hospitality will manage venue operations for select events, providing culinary, beverage, and hospitality services.
Built in the early 1900s, the J.I. Case Building has evolved from a hub of agricultural innovation to a sophisticated venue for unforgettable gatherings. Its rehabilitation features stunning architecture, including soaring ceilings and expansive windows, complemented by exposed brick walls and original industrial details. The venue preserves beautiful historical elements, such as intricate woodwork, a striking main foyer, and a rooftop offering sweeping views of the Mill District.

Mill District Event Spaces officially opened in June 2025 and offers versatile event accommodations for up to 350 attendees. Key features include the 5,300-square-foot Park Avenue Room, the adjacent Washington Room, pre-function areas, and a 4,000-square-foot outdoor rooftop with iconic views overlooking the Mill District. Meeting-goers can also enjoy Solus, a rooftop retreat featuring an indoor sauna, outdoor heated whirlpool, and lounges equipped with state-of-the-art technology to enhance events. For overnight stays, the Canopy by Hilton Minneapolis and Aloft Minneapolis, both developed, owned, and operated by Sherman Associates, serve as convenient accommodation partners.
