Hilton Worldwide’s 2021 Brand Awards & Recognition program honored the Hilton Rochester Mayo Clinic Area Hotel as the No. 1 Hilton Hotel in North America and awarded the property the Connie Award in the category of 500 guest rooms or less.
The Connie Award, which is the highest award granted by Hilton Worldwide, highlights the “best of the best” of every facet of the Hilton portfolio based on the combined ranking of overall experience, service, quality assurance audits, brand standard compliance, hotel condition, cleanliness, and property accommodations.
“Winning the Connie Award represents that the model we have built internally … is shining through each of our employees and their ability to be prideful in the work that they do,” says Michelle Milde, the Hilton Rochester’s corporate director of public relations and marketing.
Situated down the street from and connected via skyway to the Mayo Clinic, the hotel is home to 264 guest rooms and suites, a total of 23,065 square feet of event space, nine meeting rooms, two ballrooms, a pool and spa area, a Precor fitness center, and more.
“It is the only luxury property in Rochester,” says Milde. Groups will like the event space consisting of two ballrooms with floor-to-ceiling windows and room-darkening shades. The Dr. John H. Noseworthy Hall provides 7,339 square feet of event space that can accommodate up to 800 reception guests or 570 banquet guests, while the Doctors Mayo Hall offers 6,391 square feet of event space and accommodates up to 690 reception guests or 520 banquet guests.
