Judith Wright Named Meet Minneapolis’ Hospitality Hero

By M+E Staff

Judith Wright, Meet Minneapolis’ housing services planner, was recently awarded the third quarter Hospitality Hero award from Meet Minneapolis, Convention and Visitors Association. The Hospitality Hero award honors a company or individual who has contributed significantly to the public image of Minneapolis through hospitality and service. The award is given out quarterly to members of the Minneapolis hospitality community who have been nominated by their peers.

Wright was nominated by Andrea Krawczyk, director of sales at Hilton Garden Inn Minneapolis Downtown. “Judith always pays great attention to detail, which demonstrates pride and shows that she wants guests to have the best experience possible when they arrive,” said Krawczyk. “She is an exceptional ambassador for the city and always has a smile on her face, which is accompanied with a helpful attitude when interacting with both internal and external clients.”

Wright’s nomination was spurred by her ability to go the extra mile in providing service to visitors and enhancing each visitor’s desire to return to Minneapolis. She takes pride in, and commits to, Minneapolis’ hospitality industry, which was illustrated when she handled the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Wright’s tasks included coordinating housing for attendees and the group was thoroughly impressed with her attention to detail and plan to return and use Meet Minneapolis’ housing services in the future.

As a Minneapolis resident fully committed to the hospitality industry and visitor experience, Wright’s positive attitude and eagerness to accommodate hotel guests is elemental to the successful execution of each event.
