The Loews Minneapolis Hotel was recently deemed the “Best Hotel in the State” by MSN Travel.
The downtown hotel features 251 modern rooms, a spa and an on-site restaurant. It currently has a number of renovations taking place, including enhancements to the lobby, guest rooms, meeting spaces, and restaurant.
“The lobby area will be remodeled to open up space and create a gathering area,” said John Power, general manager. “There will be a new lobby bar concept that will replace Cask Cookhouse. The menu will focus on small plates, craft beer and specialty cocktails.”
The guest rooms and meeting spaces will undergo remodeling changes that are expected to be completed this spring.
The hotel, formerly known as Graves 601 Hotel Wyndham Grand, was purchased by Loews Hotels & Resorts in July 2014.
The property was also recently named one of the “Best Hotels in the Midwest” by Condé Nast Traveler.
