Sisyphus Brewing Launches Kickstarter for Taproom Mural

By M+E Staff

Sisyphus Brewing recently announced plans to decorate the exterior of its Loring Park building with a mural. The mural will be a collaboration between Minnesota artists Adam Turman and Josh “Jawsh” Lemke. Sisyphus Brewing launched a kickstarter campaign to fund the completion of the mural.

“I am truly thrilled to launch this Kickstarter for the mural by Adam Turman and Jawsh,” said Sisyphus Brewing Founder Samuel Harriman. “Both are incredible artists, and supporting the vibrant local art scene is a huge goal for Sisyphus Brewing. Many of the rewards for our Kickstarter campaign are even sourced from local companies like Steady Print Shop and CHUX Prints.”

Mural artists Turman and Lemke are well-known throughout the Minnesota local beer community as creators of “beer art.” Turman’s work has been featured on Surly Brewing bottles and 612Brew’s taproom. Lemke’s work can be seen on the most recent Surly Darkness bottle.

The new Sisyphus taproom, located at 712 Ontario West, will open its doors in late spring. Sisyphus Brewing will feature a selection of beers of various styles that will rotate constantly. The taproom will be the only location to sample Sisyphus beers.

Sisyphus Brewing aims to raise $6,000 by May 15. Donations can be made to the campaign here.
