The new packages incorporate the core elements of The Ranch’s signature program—hiking, rest, strength conditioning, massages and yoga—with custom programming to suit a group’s individual needs, four-day stays at the Four Seasons and a daily diet of fresh vegetarian fare.

HERMOSA INN WRAPS UP IMPROVEMENTS & EXPANSION

Situated in the heart of Paradise Valley only minutes from Scottsdale, Hermosa Inn recently completed the second phase of a $5.5 million-dollar project that included the addition of 10 deluxe hideaway casitas, renovation of 12 historic rancho casitas and expansion of LON’s Last Drop bar and patio. Each new 700-square-foot casita features a vaulted ceiling, beehive fireplace, secluded patio and European white oak floors.

Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Spa honors a handful of architects and famous artists who helped shaped Scottsdale, notables such as Frank Lloyd Wright, Alexander Girard and Paolo Soleri. Opened in late 2016, there are 201 guest rooms and suites located in clusters of casita-inspired bungalows, 10,000 square feet of indoor and 36,000 square feet of outdoor function space, three outdoor pools and Weft & Warp Art Bar + Kitchen. The look is desert-inspired, and the focus is on indigenous art, culture and cuisine.

After taking part in the Tequila Infusion Class for groups of 10-60 and led by the resort’s tequila master, participants leave with an appreciation for the differences between Reposado, Anejo and Blanco and a 9-ounce bottle of their own tequila concoction using a wide range of infusion ingredients. 

Longtime Resort Returns to Glory in Paradise Valley

Mountain Shadows, originally opened in 1959 and quickly setting the benchmark for desert luxury, was newly constructed from the ground up in what is now known as Paradise Valley through a partnership between Westroc Hospitality and Woodbine Development Corporation. Nestled between Camelback and Mummy mountains and reopened in April, the $100 million property was 12 years in the making and features 183 guest rooms, 42 condominiums and lofts and 37,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space.

Steamboat Springs Introduces New Activities

>> Live-action escape rooms are a new form of interactive entertainment, and Steamboat Springs has welcomed the addition of The Crooked Key. Teams use their communication skills and follow the clues to crack the puzzle and escape from one of two themed rooms in 60 minutes or less. The rooms accommodate groups of eight comfortably.
