What Are the Best of Awards?
The annual Best of Awards are designed to honor the cream of the crop in the regional meetings and events industry. The awards are a celebration of the hard work and above-and-beyond service of suppliers who help planners be at the top of their game.
How Does Voting Work for the Best of Awards?
Every single winner in the annual Best of Awards is hand-picked by the meeting planners, event planners and suppliers who read our magazines. Readers determine the winners so every vote in each category is influential and important.
The Rules:
- Voting is limited to one vote per email address
- Voters must vote in at least 10 categories
We use a prepopulated ballot to reduce confusion and make the process as easy as possible for voters. The choices listed on the ballot are picked by you! We take the top finalists from prior Best of Awards and combine those with options the voters have written in. Don’t see the company you want to vote for? There is a write-in option so no one is left out. The ballot is regularly updated to include your write-in votes and more accurately reflect the choices voters are making.
The categories are chosen by our M+E editor in the region. They are carefully crafted each year to fully represent the changing industry and make sure everyone is recognized for their hard work.
What is the Best of Awards Event?
To celebrate the finalists and announce the winners, a Best of Awards party is thrown. As one of the largest gatherings of industry professionals, the Best of Awards serve as a wonderful place for planners and suppliers to network and celebrate each other. The night includes food, drinks, entertainment and, of course, the reveal of the Best of Award winners and Hall of Fame inductees during a live presentation. Attendees are also the first to see the newest issue of our magazine!
