Destination Colorado Names Peak Performer of the Year Winners

Destination Colorado just announced its Peak Performer of the Year award winners for 2013. The association awarded the Individual of the Year to Danielle McNair of Vail Beaver Creek Resort Properties and The University of Denver was recognized as Company of the Year.

The Performer of the Year awards are given to members to recognize their leadership and commitment to promoting the meeting industry in Colorado.  This year’s awards were given at the Front Range Trade Show the University of Denver.

The University of Denver has been prominently involved in planning and coordinating many of Destination Colorado’s Front Range Trade Shows, which is an annual event that typically brings in close to 300 buyers and almost 100 exhibiting suppliers. The University of Denver has been a long-standing member of Destination Colorado.

McNair has over 10 years of successful experience in the Colorado meetings industry and has supported Destination Colorado through promotion, events and mentorship. She has served on the Green Meetings Industry Council; Rocky Mountain Chapter Meeting Professionals International, Membership Committee; Colorado Society of Association Executives; Meeting Industry Council of Colorado and on the Destination Colorado Board of Directors. Additionally, McNair took a large part in the planning of Destination Colorado’s Customer Appreciation Event, promoting Vail and Beaver Creek to meeting planners and buyers.
