For the first time in over a decade, Headwaters Lodge & Cabins at Flagg Ranch opened its doors this year for the winter season. Located 50 miles from Jackson Hole and at the south entrance to Yellowstone, the lodge provides a central location for guests to explore the park on cross-country skis or snowshoes.
“We’re excited to welcome travelers making their way into Yellowstone this winter,” said Logan Steffens, Headwaters general manager. “Whether you’re coming for a snowcoach tour or for an adventurous snowmobiling trip, Headwaters Lodge & Cabins will give guests the opportunity to explore nature’s most pristine scenery.”
A partnership with Scenic Safaris offers guests the opportunity to purchase snowmobiling and snowcoach tours. Additionally, due to its location, Headwaters Lodge & Cabins at Flagg Ranch offers other outdoor experiences including trails and thermal areas such as Pole Cate and Huckleberry Hot Springs.
The property, which will remain open through March 15, was recently renovated and now offers updated accommodations, a retail shop and convenience store, and Sheffield’s Restaurant and Bar.
