Molly Smith and Kristen Snavely have been named co-general managers of Triple Creek Ranch, an all-inclusive luxury ranch resort in Montana’s Bitterroot Valley. Smith is returning to Triple Creek Ranch after a brief hiatus. Previously serving as general manager for four years after working her way up from pastry chef, she has since perfected her skills at The Inn at Hastings Park in Massachusetts, another Relais & Châteaux property. Snavely’s appointment is the culmination of 24 years of service to Triple Creek Ranch, most recently working as assistant general manager and previously overseeing the horseback riding program and grounds.
Paige Lund has been appointed general manager of JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort. The seasoned hospitality and luxury hotel professional brings more than 25 years of experience to the role. Prior to joining the property, Lund was general manager of JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort & Spa. She has held several leadership positions with Wyndham Hotels and Resorts and Starwood Hotels and Resorts, and was vice president of lodging for The Canyons Ski Resort in Park City, Utah. Lund also has been actively involved on the board of directors for multiple Arizona hospitality and tourism organizations, including Visit Phoenix, Arizona Lodging and Tourism Association Board, Experience Scottsdale, and Northern Arizona University School of Hotel and Restaurant Management.
Ralph Scatena has returned to the role of general manager at JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort & Spa and is serving as area general manager for Phoenix. This marks the first returning general manager in the 85-year history of the resort. As a 40-year Marriott International veteran, Scatena has been general manager of several Marriott properties, including Orlando World Center Marriott in Florida and JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa in Palm Desert, California. During his last term as general manager of Camelback Inn 15 years ago, Scatena was named General Manager of the Year while leading his team through a significant property transformation.
