Triple Creek Ranch is a mountain hideaway located in Darby, Montana in the Bitterroot Range of the Rocky Mountains. In the 2015 Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards, the resort was ranked the No. 3 hotel in the world, by reader votes. Also, Triple Creek Ranch was named the No. 1 property in the Continental U.S. for Inns & Small Lodges with fewer than 40 rooms, for its sixth consecutive year.
Last year, Triple Creek Ranch was named the No. 1 World’s Best Hotel in the Travel + Leisure 2014 World’s Best Awards, while also celebrating its 20th anniversary.
Offering an authentic Western ranch experience, Triple Creek Ranch includes a multitude of activities ranging from a guided horseback ride along the Lewis and Clark Trail to fly fishing in the Bitterroot River. Adult guests can also try sapphire panning, joining a Cattle Drive, or a dog sledding trip with 13-time Iditarod Race finisher Jessie Royer. Also, cultural and culinary opportunities include art workshop weekends, cooking schools, and wine tastings with vintners.
Additionally, guests can enjoy a day relaxing poolside or have a meal in the Main Lodge Dining Room, prepared by Executive Chef Jacob Leatherman. Meals may be paired with wines poured by Sommelier Jeremy White, from the property’s award-winning cellar.
The ranch is home to 24 private guest cabins furnished with wood-burning fireplaces, king beds, and nearby hot tubs. Each room showcases original Western Art, cultivated from the owners’ private collection.
